Managing Your Subscription and Billing Information
Legacy Secure offers flexible subscription plans to cater to your estate management needs. Here's how you can manage your subscription and billing details:
Subscription Plans:

Monthly Subscription:
- Billed on a monthly basis.
- Ideal for users seeking short-term commitment or flexibility.

Yearly Subscription:
- Billed annually with a discounted rate compared to the monthly plan.
- Suitable for users preferring long-term commitment and savings.
No Contract Lock-In:
- Legacy Secure operates on a billing cycle basis.
- You are not locked into any long-term contracts and can cancel at any time.
How to Subscribe:

Sign Up:
- Visit the Legacy Secure website and click on "Try for Free".

Free Trial:
- While on the free trial, a banner will appear at the top of the page with a "Subscribe Now" button, allowing you to upgrade at any time during the trial.

Choose Your Plan:
- Select either the monthly or yearly subscription option based on your preference.

Enter Payment Information:
- Provide your payment details (e.g., credit card or supported digital wallet).

Confirm Subscription:
- Review your subscription details and confirm to activate your account.
Updating Payment Information:

Access Account Settings:
- Log in to your Legacy Secure account and navigate to the "Settings" section in the left-hand menu.

Select "Billing & Subscriptions":
- Here, you can view your current subscription plan.

Update Payment Methods:
- Click on the option to change payment methods, which will redirect you to Stripe.
- Add a new payment method or update existing details as needed.

Save Changes:
- Confirm and save your updated payment information.
Canceling Your Subscription:

Navigate to "Billing & Subscriptions" in Settings:
- Locate the option to manage your subscription.

Select "Cancel Subscription":
- Click on the "Cancel Subscription" button and follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation.

Access Until Billing Cycle Ends:
- Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Legacy Secure until the end of your current billing period.

Data Handling Post-Cancellation:
- After cancellation, your account enters a pending state for 60 days, during which your data remains secure but inaccessible.
- During this 60-day period, you can either resubscribe or request a data export. For more information, visit: Retrieving Data After Subscription Cancellation .
No Setup Fees:
- There are no additional setup fees; only the monthly or yearly subscription charges apply.
