How to Upload Documents to Your Legacy Secure Account
Storing important documents securely is a key feature of Legacy Secure. Here's how you can upload and manage your documents within your account:
Uploading Documents:

Log In to Your Account:
- Access Legacy Secure via a web browser and log in using your credentials.

Add a New Item or Edit an Existing One:
- To associate a document with a specific item, either add a new asset/liability/directive or edit an existing entry.

Upload Documents:
- Look for an "Upload" button or a similar option within the item's details.
- Click the button to open the file upload dialog.

Select Your File:
- Choose the file(s) you wish to upload from your device. Legacy Secure supports various file formats, including PDF, DOCX, JPG, and PNG.

Repeat as Necessary:
- You can upload multiple documents for each item, ensuring all relevant information is centralized and accessible.
Uploading During Item Creation:

Prompted Input:
- When creating a new asset, liability, or directive, you will be prompted to upload relevant documents as part of the input process.
Managing Documents:

Amend or Add Documents:
- You can amend or add documents to previously created items at any time by accessing the item's details and using the "Upload Document" button.

Upload Button for Created Documents:
- If a document is created but not uploaded, an "Upload" button will appear, allowing you to add the document later.
Security of Uploaded Documents:

Encrypted Storage:
- All uploaded documents are stored in a secure Amazon S3 bucket, encrypted to protect your sensitive information.

Access Control:
- Only authorized users with the appropriate access levels can view or manage the uploaded documents.
Accessing Uploaded Documents:

- Access your documents anytime by navigating to the associated item and selecting the desired file.

- Documents are not shared externally; users must log in to Legacy Secure to view any documents.

- You can update or remove documents as needed. Ensure that any changes are reflected accurately within your account.
